The Epixels is a team of Shopify experts in Dubai that builds custom Shopify Plus development and runs conversion rate optimization for DTC brands. Shopify Plus Partner since 2016.
What We Actually Do.
We build Shopify Plus stores, and we improve the ones that are already live. That is the whole practice. No side business in paid media, no platform we also cover, no team that does WordPress on Thursdays.
The brands we work with are past the beginner stage. They have a catalogue, a customer base and a store that has started saying no to things the business needs. Usually a theme bought years ago, extended by a stack of apps that each solved one problem and created two more. Our job is to replace the workarounds with something built on purpose.
We work from Dubai, so most of our clients sell in Arabic and English, into markets where a payment method or a delivery expectation can decide whether a checkout completes. That shapes what we build. It is also why our storefronts tend to be bilingual from the theme up rather than translated after the fact.
The best thing an agency can tell you is that you should not buy the thing you asked for. We have talked brands out of migrations, out of headless builds and out of a redesign that would have cost more than the problem. It costs us a project. It usually keeps the client.
How We Work.
Every project runs through the same four steps, whether it is a two week fix or an eight week build. The point of writing them down is that you can hold us to them.
The first conversation
You describe the problem. We ask about the store, the stack behind it and what has already been tried. No deck, and nothing to sign at the end of it.
A written scope
We take the build apart and write down what it involves, what it does not, and what it costs. The quote is fixed against that scope, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
The build
A named team and a timeline you can watch move, with a weekly call. You see progress on a staging store rather than in a status email.
Sign off
It ships when you say it ships. After launch we stay on for the support window, because the first month live is when the real edge cases turn up.

This list is more useful than another list of capabilities. These are the four things we get asked for most often and turn down.
Quote before we scope
A number given in the first call is a guess that someone pays for later, usually you. We would rather take a week and be right.
Sell you Plus you don’t need
Shopify Plus is worth it when the ceilings on the standard plan are costing you more than the plan does. If you are not there yet, we will say so.
Publish numbers we can’t stand behind
You will not find an average revenue lift percentage on this site. The ones you see elsewhere are usually the best result an agency ever had, quoted as a typical one.
Disappear mid build
The most common complaint about agencies is silence. You get a weekly call and a person whose name you know, for the whole build.

Who are The Epixels?
The Epixels is a Shopify Plus agency in Dubai that builds custom Shopify development and runs conversion rate optimization for DTC brands. We have been a Shopify Plus Partner since 2016 and work from Business Bay with brands in the UAE, the US, the UK and Europe.
Where are you based?
Dubai. The office is at 1711 Lake Central Tower, Business Bay. Most projects run remotely with a weekly call regardless of where the client sits.
How big is the team on my project?
Small and named. You get the people doing the work rather than an account manager relaying messages to them, and the same people stay on the project from scope through to launch.
Do you only work on Shopify?
Yes. Shopify and Shopify Plus is the whole practice, which is the point. Agencies that cover five platforms know each one to the depth that five platforms allows.
What happens after I book a call?
